"I recently had the inner primary bearing and rear master cylinder changed on my 06 Street Bob. When I rode it the next two days I started having problems with my bike killing etc. due to horrible experience that l had in the past with a totally unrelated HD dealership, I automatically went into defense mode with the doom and gloom attitude that I got screwed over by the service dept. and that my bike was ruined. I called service and spoke with Anna, the service manager. When talking to her I had an attitude and basically told her how l felt. I explained to her what the bike was doing and that they had messed it up worse than it was when I brought it to them originally. Anna took the time to listen to me and addresses my concerns and basically told me that she wasnt going to say that they didnt mess up the bike or that they did. She told me to bring it in as soon as I can and they will get to the bottom of the problem. Just the fact that she acknowledged that it was a possibility, even though in hindsight she probably already knew from what the bike was doing that it wasnt from their work, that it could have been a problem on their end rather than basically blowing off my concerns when telling me to bring it meant a lot and changed my mood regarding the situation. When I showed up with the bike a couple of days later Anna ran the codes as soon as I got there. Within 5 minutes Jim, the mechanic who had changed out the bearing had the bike in the back and figured out the problem very quickly. It turned out to be a cheap battery that I had put in from Auto Zone when I was jammed up about a year before. They showed me how the post on the battery were melting and it was the cause of all of my problems. I went ahead a bought the battery, it was changed out and after the mechanic did a quick test ride l was back on the road, problem free. Throughout the whole process from when l originally brought it in to when I left after going back everyone there was awesome. Even after I had and attitude and blamed them for some that had absolutely nothing to do with the work that they did. Any time that l had any questions Anna and the mechanics would take a minute to answer them and explain things to me even if they were basic questions unrelated to the service that l had done. Im the first person to admit when Im wrong and I was way off on assuming the worst before even having my bike looked at again. I live an hour away but I will never go to another dealership for service, parts, clothing or anything else. Thanks again for your patience, customer service and great work."
